Project TEACH Trainings
Project TEACH Trainings
TEACH provides training and capacity building to community-based organizations (CBO's) addressing access to health care, healthy living, and health care quality for underserved populations on:
- Regional Health Statistics,
- Community Engagement and Cultural Competence
- Program Evaluation
- Access to Healthcare
- Evidence-Based Interventions
- Succession Planning Sustainability
- Collaboration and Partnerships
Our trainings are highly tailored to your specific needs. Only 7 to 10 CBO's participate in each training to maximize one-on-one interaction with faculty. Our programs starts with an individual, detailed interview via conference call (1-2 hours) to learn who you are and what you need so we can tailor the program to meet your needs. Based on these interviews, our faculty builds a unique 2-day workshop conducted on-site, where our faculty works with you one-on-one.
Project TEACH is funded by the Colorado Health Foundation, so there is NO COST to participate. We have trained over 55 organizations across Colorado during our first two years and intend to train 25 more this year.
Project Personnel: Angela Sauaia (Director), Nicole Tuitt (Project Coordinator), Ginger Harrell, Cerise Hunt, Carol Kaufman, Mariana Ledezma-Amorosi, Kris Wenzel, and all Colorado AHECs.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: This training is directed specifically to organizations addressing access to health care and/or healthy living.
