With a grant from The Colorado Trust, the San Luis Valley Area Health Education has the ability to monitor enrolled high school students in the “Grow Your Own” program.  By staying communicated with students, parents and high school counselors during the school year, the SLVAHEC is able to better serve students with academic guidance in assuring successful completion of students’ planned health careers pursuit.
